Spanish Cove is the epitome of a Caribbean beach house tucked in the center of the small busy town of Runaway Bay.  Built-in classic Jamaican style with Jalousie windows, a wide verandah, and beautiful decorative fan lights throughout, Spanish Cove is a charming clapperboard beach cottage that exudes charm. This lovely seafront property shares the beach with Hidden Bay and combined they can accommodate larger parties.

Plenty of comfortable seating areas on the upper and lower-level verandas. Comfortable chaise lounges adorn the pool terrace and beach as well so you can enjoy the 180-degree view of the sea. Pure relaxation!

After passing through its cottage-style garden into the entrance hall which features beautiful decorative fanlights above each doorway, you are reminded of an architecture synonymous with the Caribbean and its views to the sea beyond.

The interior design is white with dark brown mahogany furniture, plenty of open spaces, and large windows to let the light stream in. Walking through the villa to the large covered verandah allows you to gaze over the expansive view of the Caribbean Sea. This is the perfect location for dining or relaxing on crisp white sofas. The lush green lawn leads to the pool area on the east side with a wide sundeck, casual seating area, and a pool-side wet bar.

Conveniently located on the beach is a picnic table for lunches, sun loungers, and a hammock for afternoon relaxation.

There are two bedrooms on the upper level, a comfortable sitting room inside, and a large verandah that spans the front of the villa with dining and comfortable seating areas. This is a place to spend time with a book, playing cards or just watching the world go by.

On the lower level, there are two more bedrooms with a connecting door making them an excellent choice for parents with small children. Both bedrooms have double doors opening to the sea and a small seating area for savoring a quiet start to the day with an early morning coffee.

The service is excellent! Whether you are a foodie or not, you will appreciate your Chef’s fabulous food and beautiful presentations. His food tastes as good as it looks! Spanish Cove is inside, outside beach living at its very best.

Accommodations

All bedrooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms have personal safes.

Bedroom 2
Queen-size, en-suite bathroom with vanity area and walk-in shower.

Lower Level

Bedroom 3
King-size bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, open louvers to ocean view, and a walk-in closet. There are two low beams of 6ft in the bedroom. Connects to Bedroom 4, if required for a parent/child suite. Double doors open to sea view.

Additional Information

Groceries can be ordered, delivered, and paid for via a credit card from the local grocery store. Alternatively, guests can shop at the local grocery store near the villa using their credit card or cash.
